Do not be deceived, they don't like you!

From the Advent of Islam during the time of our noble Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), unbelievers (especially the Jews) have been coming up with plots after plots to destroy the Muslim Ummah, to distract you from the basic acts of Ibadah.

Their main aim is to extinguish the light of Allah, to take your mind away from the teachings, guidance, benefits and sweetness of belief in Allah (SWT). Allah said in the Holy Quran;

“They intend to put out the light of Allah (i.e the Religion of Islam, the Quran, the Prophet ‘PBUH’) with their mouths, but Allah will bring his light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate it; .” Quran 61:8

In another verse, Allah (SWT) made it clear to the believers that no matter how aligned you are to them, they (the disbelievers) will never be satisfied with you until they make you to lose your faith completely.

“Never will the Jews and the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad!) until you follow their way (religion)..” Quran 2:120

“They wish that you reject (lose) faith as they have rejected, thus, you become equal…” Quran Nisa’i 4:89

Do not be carried away by the sweetness of their speeches or rely on their vows, their utterances and actions are just to deceive you, to give you an impression of one thing only to turn back and do another thing. Deceits and betrayal are their characteristics. They keep no covenant or treaty, they respect no pledge.

Of their deceits, Allah (SWT) said, “With (good words from) their mouths, they please you, but their hearts are averse to you…” Quran Taubah 9:8

Even if it means using military power, missiles and drones, dropping hundreds of thousands of marines to occupy your lands, they will continue fighting and killing you until you turn back from your religion. All this in an effort to extinguish the lights of Allah.

Allah (SWT) said in Al Baqarah 2:217 “… and they will continue to fight (kill) you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able..”

Quran 3:118 said, "O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason."

As for those who willingly submit to the will of the enemies of Allah (by giving out to their temptations, taking their instructions as though they are revelations from above, aligned to them in everything you do), Allah (SWT) said such people are losers and no one will save them except they repent.

Allah (SWT) addressed the believers, “O you who believe, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will then become losers.” Quran `Ali Imran 3:149

It is enough fitnah already that the disbelievers are busy plotting against Islam, from using their media (Hollywood distraction and their misguided news channels) to their military power to divert believers from the straight path at gun point. Why then should a believer willingly push himself towards this evil, under no compulsion?

Our only way out is a complete return to the ways of the Sahabah, to forsake unnecessary worldly pleasures (things that attract you to the enemies of Islam). Return to the teachings of our beloved Prophet (PBUH), spread Islam by your good conducts not just through your speeches.

Finally, remember that in trying to move away from the enemies deceits, distractions and temptations, do not resort to violence. Islam is against violence in totality.
